We are happy to help owners across Cardiff including Llandaff, Pontcanna, Whitchurch and Rhiwbina.”
Are you insured?
Yes — we are fully insured for professional dog walking and pet care services.
How many dogs are there on a group walk?
Group walks are kept small and carefully managed. Most group walks include around 3 to 4 dogs, with a maximum of 6 in rare circumstances.
Dogs are grouped thoughtfully to help keep walks calm, safe and enjoyable.
Will I meet my dog walker first?
Yes. We offer an initial meet-and-greet so you and your dog can get to know us before any regular service begins.
This gives you the chance to ask questions, talk through routines and make sure everything feels like the right fit.
Can I book walks or visits out of hours?
Yes — where availability allows.
Early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays can often be accommodated, although out-of-hours rates apply.
What happens if I need to cancel a walk or visit?
We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice wherever possible.
If late cancellation cannot be avoided, a charge may still apply depending on the circumstances.
Do I need to be home for collection or drop-off?
Not necessarily.
Many clients provide secure access arrangements, which we discuss and agree in advance so collections and drop-offs can be carried out safely and reliably.
How will my dog be transported?
Dogs are transported in our purpose-built dog walking van, designed specifically for safe and professional pet transport.
The van includes:
Secure individual cages
Good ventilation
Multiple exits
Ramp access for safer loading and unloading
If your dog lives close to one of our walking routes, they may occasionally be walked directly instead.
Will my dog always have the same dog walker?
Yes — wherever possible.
Consistency matters, and most dogs feel more settled when they know and trust the person collecting them.
Where do you walk the dogs?
We use a variety of suitable local walking routes, parks and countryside locations depending on the dogs in the group, weather conditions and what is most appropriate for that day.
Does my dog need to be vaccinated?
Yes.
For the wellbeing of the dogs in our care, we ask that dogs are kept up to date with appropriate vaccinations, flea treatment and worming.
Do you take photos on walks?
Yes — if you would like them.
We are happy to send occasional photo updates via WhatsApp where possible.
If my dog gets wet or muddy, will you clean them up?
Yes — we will always do our best to return your dog comfortably and respectfully, including drying paws or towelling off where needed.
We know nobody wants muddy paw prints as a surprise homecoming.
What if my dog doesn’t suit a group walk?
Dogs are grouped carefully by temperament, confidence and energy.
If group walks are not the right fit, we will always recommend a safer and more suitable alternative, such as an individual walk or home visit.
Can I use your service if I don’t need regular walks?
Yes.
Not every dog needs the same routine, and we are happy to discuss flexible support depending on availability.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Walks go ahead in most weather, but if conditions are unsafe due to extreme heat, storms or severe weather, we may adjust the walk, shorten it or rearrange where needed.
Your dog’s safety always comes first.
Do you walk dogs off the lead?
Only with your written permission, and only if it is safe and appropriate for your dog.
My dog wears a muzzle — is this a problem?
Not necessarily.
Some dogs are simply better suited to individual handling or quieter arrangements, and we are always happy to discuss what would be safest and most suitable.
What hours do you work?
Our standard weekday hours are:
Monday to Friday — 9:30am to 6:00pm
Early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays may be available by arrangement and are charged separately.
